  • ANICHINI Custom Hotel Bedding At The Bienville House Hotel

Anichini Custom Hotel Bedding at the Bienville House Hotel

ANICHINI is proud to have been chosen to provide the custom hotel bedding for the historic Bienville House Hotel.

The History Of The Bienville House

The Bienville House lies in the heart of the French Quarter, between Decatur and N Peters Streets. This now upscale hotel comes from humble beginnings. Originating as a rice mill, it went on to have multiple restorations: as a manufacturing plant, luxury apartments, and in the mid 1900's as a motor hotel. It wasn't until the 1970's, when the Monteleone family purchase the property, that the Bienville House Hotel became recognized as a historic luxury French Quarter hotel.

The Bienville House's design stays true to its original European styling. The hotel features wrought iron guest room balconies, bright sundecks, and a flag stone courtyard surrounding a crystal-blue lagoon pool.

    The Custom Bedding Design

Anichini worked with the Bienville House to create their custom bedding design. They chose Old World blanket covers and pillow shams to match their European style. We finished the bedding with a custom pale blue chain stitch embroidery on white sateen sheeting.

The Waldorf Astoria in New York is one of the most esteemed hotels worldwide, known for being the ultimate in luxury and grandeur. Seated at the very top of the hotel are the Waldorf Astoria Towers, which occupy the top 15 floors. Billed as being a hotel atop a hotel, it is the most exclusive hotel in New York. Home throughout the years to iconic figures such as the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, John and Jackie Kennedy, General Douglas MacArthur, and Cole Porter.

It is here that the Presidential Suite is housed, amidst 26 Presidential-style suites, 4 historic suites, and residential apartments. Aptly-named, the Presidential Suite has accommodated every US President since Herbert Hoover. When it’s not in use by heads-of-state or diplomats, this luxurious suite has hosted movie stars, millionaires, corporate executives, and select private individuals. The suite has been redecorated to resemble the White House, reflecting a traditional Georgian-style. It also is home to the personal desk of General Douglas MacArthur and one of President John F. Kennedy's rocking chairs.

  • Projects: ANICHINI at the White Elephant Nantucket Island Resort

The White Elephant Nantucket Island Resort

The White Elephant, one of only a few historic Nantucket hotels considered an island landmark, has evolved from an eclectic mix of harbor cottages to one of the finest hotels on Nantucket. With its sophisticated guest rooms, suites, garden cottages and magnificent harbor views, it is an unexpected blend of island charm and sophisticated comfort.

The White Elephant has graced Nantucket's waterfront since the 1920's. Originally a collection of rustic cottages, the fledgling hotel was the dream of a prominent Nantucket socialite, Elizabeth T. Ludwig. She believed that the property would one day be a fine harborside hotel. Her pet project became the talk of the town, known affectionately as "Mrs. Ludwig's white elephant" - a witty name that stuck.

The White Elephant Nantucket Island Resort

From its stunning Nantucket Harbor waterfront location the White Elephant offers distinct types of luxury accommodations: guest rooms, suites, garden cottages and spectacular in-town lofts. ANICHINI is pleased to have been chosen as the White Elephant's source for luxury bedding and decorative accessories.
